Green taxiway guides

Postby eric » Sat Jul 15, 2017 12:01 pm

I was in KATL at the T11 gate and I noticed some green taxiway guides that I'd never seen before. The guides looked like a green strip in the middle of the taxiway that turned at different points and guided me to my runway. I'd never seen them before or since. How do you turn them on and off?
Control tower to a 747: “United 239 heavy, your traffic is a Fokker, one o’clock, three miles, Eastbound.”
United 239: “Approach, I’ve always wanted to say this… I’ve got the little Fokker in sight.”
