747-400 - problem with flying

Postby sp-lcz » Mon Jun 05, 2017 6:28 pm

Hi,

I have a problem with 747-400.
FG: 2017.1.3
Aircraft downloaded today from:
http://wiki.flightgear.org/Boeing_747-400
http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/flightgear/f ... 47-400.zip

Windows 8.1, i6700k, 32gb ram, gtx 1070 8gb...

I have tested 3 times: every time result is the same: after the take off the airplane's nose goes up and the plane is stalling. I can only fly when I constantly correct the flight and push the yoke.
Fuel was balanced by button in FG (35 000 kg) and weight aircraft was less then maximum takeoff. I have tried to trim him, but without good result.
A/P doesn't help.

Could you check if you have the same problem with this version of aircraft from original link: http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/flightgear/f ... 47-400.zip ?
Please help :)

Lukasz

The 744 is very unstable in pitch. I have never flown a complete flight without crashing.

I use that one. It's still unflyably unstable.

See if pushing all the passengers to the front and unloading the back helps any. This aircraft used to fly really well but then some weight and balance issues crept in.

I just installed the 747-400 from the regular add-on hangar. It flew perfectly. Also engaged the autopilot at 8000. It worked correctly. Suggest your downloaded version is the problem. Best Regards
