Unpause Results in Spin

Postby pb321 » Thu May 25, 2017 5:50 pm

Whenever I pause FG for a few minutes and then unpause, the aircraft goes into a spin. Sometimes I can recover but am pointed off-course, but usually a spin starts and the plane crashes. What am I doing wrong? This behavior occurs with the Cessna, Seneca and other aircraft. It is tough to get through a tutorial when this happens repeatedly. Any help will be appreciated.

Probably - When you un-pause your method of control (keyboard, mouse or joystick) is not exactly in the same position as when you paused it.

OK. Hadn't realized that would be an issue. I'll stop to take care of something...read more of a tutorial, email, etc. and will have moved the mouse. I'll have to get back to using the yoke. Thanks for the reply!
