MD-11 LNAV?

Postby sp-lcz » Sat Feb 25, 2017 4:56 pm

Hi,

I would like to ask you, how to turn on LNAV navigation in MD-11's autopilot? I was looking for answer in the Internet, and our forum, but I can not to find. Information from google, that I can use NAV button (below the heading knob) doesn't work in Flightgear's MD-11 (it activate navigation NAV1 from radio). Do you have any ideas?

I use FG 16.4.4 or 16.3.1 (default MD-11: http://wiki.flightgear.org/McDonnell_Douglas_MD-11).

Thank you for your help in advance.
Best

Use the "NAV" switch on the MCP or Dialog. NAV is LNAV to the MD-11. You need to grab the latest MD-11 from here. (Rename to "MD-11")

Keep in mind, NAV1 on the MD-11 means tracking LNAV from FMS 1.

Enjoy!

Thank you it0uchpods for information. Tomorrow I will test more this aircraft, because today after take-off plane missed one waypoint and turn back like on the airshow ... and of course he finished on the ground... so LNAV working :) ... I hope that it will working correctly in my next flight.

Thank you for your help!

I hope it is working for you!
I know the LNAV in the latest version works correctly. So you must have an older version of the aircraft.

Thanks
