Do you have an ATI graphics card? Try toggling point-sprite lights in the View > Rendering Options dialog (requires a restart to take effect).
See our issue tracker for more details on the matter: http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-bug ... ail?id=232

I´m using an ATI graphics-card; after toggling point-stripes it works fine, thx :) But anyway, I seriously think about buying an nVidia card... Greetings,

All computers have a graphics card. :L

Go into your computers control panel and then to system. (I don't know what it will be called for you, as I don't know your OS) It should say somewhere there, just needs a bit of digging around.

Cheers,

Ronnoc, have a look at the View > Rendering Options dialog inside FlightGear. There you'll find the point sprite option. Note that you need to restart FlightGear in order for the setting to take effect.
