707 air spawn

Postby unhappytroll » Thu Jun 23, 2022 8:06 am

When you spawn in the air in 707 to train approach, it is cold and dark. Which obviously is not a right state for air spawn. FG 2020.3.13.

How about you start FG on the ground, startup then put yourself onto the approach through Menu -> Location -> In air ?

Well, it works, until you do a reset, to repeat it. Then it spawns you again in the air, cold and dark.

Don't do a reset then - after landing, you can simply do the exact same thing again ! ;)

it hasn't been a bother and there's no reason for you to leave... sad that you feel that way :(
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Same … sorry if my post sounded as if you were a bother … it wasn't meant that way.

You know the 707, at least the fully developed one from Lake of Constance Hangar has a really elaborate starting procedure, I'm wondering if air starts are broken because of the complexity of getting it running?
