Sometimes, the simulator gets stuck on loading screen. But the aircraft, sound, systems etc. are working. Just the display is stuck.
I wonder what the problem is
I think it's also worth noting that I'm using the nightly release (2020.4.0)

you're running windows10 and FG 2020.4.0... what is your GPU and what version of the drivers? have you tried updating them?

GPU is Intel HD graphics, I'm sure they are up-to-date.
I've changed the graphics setting to minimal, but they reset each time I fly...

still need more information... which intel HD GPU?
how much memory does the GPU have?
is the GPU sharing main system memory?
how much main system memory do you have?
what is the version number of your drivers?
puling hen's teeth to get the needed data to even start guessing is not fun
