hello there.
Been trying for a while now to sort this out, and I'm stumped...
I have an X52 Pro Joystick + throttle, with a cheapo Trust USB joystick also plugged in( which I have converted into some rudder pedals)
I can't get fgjs.exe to run, it gets to the bit where it assigns axes and then crashes - leaving me a js0 and js1 xml file in my bin/Win32 folder. When I start the game, I have both joysticks affecting ailerons and elevators, and no rudder or trim controls.
I'd like to be able to assign my axes as I see fit, and map my rotary dials to trim but I can;t find any more info about this. I've looked through the x52-Pro.xml in the Input/Joysticks folder but can't work out how to make FG use that file. I've tried to edit the existing joysticks.xml file to point to the x52-Pro.xml file, but with no luck.
any help appreciated!!
If all the joystick settings needs is an xml file in the right location, I would be prepared to create a small application that would do this...
