Budget Joystick

Postby bayvista170 » Tue Jun 08, 2021 7:26 am

Hi all. I've just started on FG. My details:

Windows 10 - latest update
Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon with WINE
FG 2020.3 ASUS Nvidia GeForce GTX1050Ti 4GB GDDR5
Dell Precision Tower 5820 Xeon E5-1630v3.3 3.7GHz 16GB DDR3 256GB SSD 1TB HDD

I am seeking a budget joystick, under A$100. Mouse and K/B are useless for control.

Welcome to FG community.
For example Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X is very good piece of the hardware.

That looks very promising. A quite competent graphics card and a processor that seem to have relatively good single thread performance (which seem to be important for flight simulators in general). :)

I do not understand how it is possible, but there are allegedly a few that can fly helis with only that.
