pre-recorded flights are a legacy thing, these days it's indeed much better/superior to use the fgtape mechanism and tinker with different rendering settings, possibly in combination with sampling/logging key performance metrics (such as frame rate, frame spacing etc)
I think there's currently work going on to establish a library of fgtapes as part of the fgdata/fgaddon repository structure, at least there have been some talks to do so to grow a library of fgtapes that end users, contributors and core devs can use for regression testing purposes, and benchmarking.
Realistically, creating a corresponding file is pretty straightforward - you can simply use a flight plan and let the route manager/autopilot fly the aircraft automatically, and then record a corresponding fgtape.
A number of people have previously shared such tapes here, so you could share your requirements (airport/scenery, aircraft) and you might be lucky.
