Dolby 7.1 and Atmos Support

Postby jsthomps » Tue Nov 24, 2020 6:16 pm

Hi Everyone,
Just new to flight gear and I was wondering if FG supports Dolby 7.1 and Atmos? I have a 7.4.3 (14 speakers) home theater and this program would sound awesome if it supported these sound systems.
Thanks,
Scott

Very likely it does not. I do not know for sure though.

Only if the soundcard supports it since they are proprietary solutions which require a license.

I have to warn though, changes are high that the result is underwhelming since most you will hear is noise coming from one direction (engine with thruster).
