Personal video headset for flightgear

Postby Couchflyer » Mon May 20, 2019 7:30 pm

Hi all
I would like to get a personal cinema type viewing headset to use with Flightgear on a small screen laptop where the screen is sometimes too distant. I know there is the zoom in and out function but I imagine there must be a headset that looks like virtual reality goggles that just connects to the pc via HDMI and just duplicates the computer screen in front of your eyes without the need to be on V R.
Anyone use one that is compatible with Flightgear and is less expensive than the Oculus rift type V R setup?
Will need to be available in UK
Cheers

I am not aware if there are ones like you describe, but I would guess that they should work out of the box if they just are a replacement for a regular screen.
