Too little information.

Can you tell us where you obtained Flightgear and how you installed it and started the program.

Next, what happened when you ran the program?

Are you using Linux, Windows or Mac?

@alant

Hello, thank you to respond

I download it on Flightgear.org
I installed it in ProgramFiles/Flightgear 2017.2.1 with a carpet called Flighgear in documents with the terrasync and the planes and objets
When I ran the program, I was flying with a friend in portugal, it was a normal flight with the a-10 (The problem happen with ALL the planes but i think is useful data) And in mid of flight the program closed and a message apears ''Flightgear Has stopped working'' Send Report | Other options

I Have windows 8.1 pro
Intel Core i3 CPU 540 @3.07 GHz 3.07 GHz
4GB RAM (2.99)
OS 32 bits, Processor 64 bits

Maybe it ran out of RAM.... 4GB is not alot. My FGFS sometimes used 3-4GB RAM, plus you need OS RAM space, and programs.

Kind Regards,

It is late here, but if any one else is following carpet in Spanish/Portuguese is directory or folder in English.

My immediate impression is that your computer is a rather outdated, Flightgear is continually being improved but this means that the latest version needs up to date hardware.

Can you send the log file?

More RAM means spend money and buy it.

The log file is in C:/Users /yourname/AppData/Roaming/flightgear.org.

Appdata is a hidden directory, so you have to enable hidden directories in Windows,

I am sorry that this is hard to find, but nobody listens to me either..

I am sure that your computer is not powerful enough to use all o of FG.

If you fly in MP, try sure to switch off MP sounds, they have tendency to crash FG sadly.

I also noticed this in your log file:

flightgear\src\Main\fg_scene_commands.cxx:76:Program exit requested.

If you didn't exit the program seems like something else did. Not sure why.

The log also has this, just before the exit was requested:-
Code: Select all
nasal:5:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Scripting\NasalSys.cxx:449:flaps overspeed!
nasal:5:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Scripting\NasalSys.cxx:449:103.6064711699826
nasal:5:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Scripting\NasalSys.cxx:449:bend
nasal:5:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Scripting\NasalSys.cxx:449:bend
nasal:5:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Scripting\NasalSys.cxx:449:break
nasal:5:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Scripting\NasalSys.cxx:449:bend
nasal:5:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Scripting\NasalSys.cxx:449:bend
nasal:5:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Scripting\NasalSys.cxx:449:bend
input:3:G:\Jenkins\workspace\Windows-release\flightgear\src\Main\fg_scene_commands.cxx:76:Program exit requested.

I do not know what the "bend" refers to.

Is it all related to the flap overspeed message?

Does the computer have a graphics processor (GPU), and is this being used?
