The wiki doesn't contain the unit for <cruise-alt>330</cruise-alt> Any ideas before I scrape the code?

What do you mean by scraping the code ? In the wiki or in the actual AI systems ? (Do I sound worried enough? why scrap either?)

In my understanding these are flight levels where FL 330 is 33,000 feet as per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_level.
I also believe this is working correctly based on users feedback mentioning they cross the path of AI aircrafts when flying around.

Cheers
