Hey guys
I repeat my question, someone will do taxidraw for airports EPWA. Unfortunately my appdata does not allow me to do this. I am eager to have taxidraw on this port because I fly with him almost every day. Regards

Use WED and I will convert it to groundnet.xml.

If you know for a fact he would request to you, you did it to all traffic AI trafic work on EPWA that airplanes standing in the parking lot and not as obecie on the middle lane. Ian has done a nice paint LOT E175, 175 and 787. It would be nice to see them at this airport

I do not understand that. In your screenshot you have done it already, or found it somewhere.
So why don't you share it with other FG users ?

I have a custom scenery polish. There are buildings to EPWA and many other Polish Airports.
I mean it taxidraw. Can anyone be improved by aircraft stood at the terminal and circled to the waist, as at many other airports. I would appreciate someone to perform.

Here's how you can do it yourself.

Get Taxidraw here: ftp://ftp.uni-duisburg.de/FlightGear/Win32/

Before you start Taxidraw you need extract the from apt.dat from the apt.dat.gz file, this located in FlightGear\data\Airports\apt.dat.gz.

When you first run Taxidraw select the "New project for existing airport" option then press "next"
In the next window you see KSFO in the top input box and below that is where you insert the path to the extracted apt.dat, all being well when you press "Finish" you should have window appear with the KSFO layout in it.

You may have to set the paths to your FlightGear Data folder in "Edit - Preferences" but I do believe it will work without that.

With the new apt.dat you will only get the runways appear in Taxidraw but that doesn't matter as you only need the runways to make it work.

More information can be found here: http://wiki.flightgear.org/Interactive_traffic

You can get the coordinates of the various parking positions and taxiways using Bing maps then copy them into Taxidraw:
http://www.bing.com/maps/#Y3A9NTIuMjE3NTAwfjAuMTcxNzAwJmx2bD02JnN0eT1yJmVvPTAmcT01Mi4xNzQ5OTglMkMlMjAyMC45NjgyMTc=

Please don't keep sending me PM's with lists of airports you want done, I've told you already why I can't do them!

Ok I downloaded again and do according to your commands, and I think that might be able to do it and it will not be that difficult, thanks for comprehensive reply :))

I have a pre-made design.
Now I have a question: how do I do that was on the groundsnet. How to save the work done to have a preview of how it looks.

You need to export the ground network from Taxidraw and then test it in FG, it does tell this on the wiki.
If you don't have a separate testing folder it can be placed in the terrasync/airports folder but do a back up of the existing file first.

I believe the answer to your interrogation is in my earlier post (with the EPWA groundnet picture).

The 4 positions EPWA test network I built that night was designed to demonstrate the Taxidraw process was easy and encourage David to start contributing. I believe (from his own answer to your post) he perfectly understood that.

Ultimately -like for any other contributor- Selecting what I share, with who and the time it takes me is my sole decision/privilege. Personally I prefer not to make incomplete code available to the community..

More broadly on the topic/context ; As far as I understand :
- We had until last year a lot of perfectly working groundnets which were totally wiped out through a "Wow lets update thousands of airport at once, this is so coo!" mysterious (and certainly untested) commit.
- We have no easy way to make groundnets available to the entire FG user base via commit/merge (not in FGData)
- Multiple threads make reference to auto generated groundnets from WED layouts coming our ways in a near (yet unclear) future

Given the above there is no point in me in investing any time into building/sharing groundnets.

Cheers
Ian

until beginning of 2016 we had 90 groundnets. and we still have those.

example:
http://ns334561.ip-5-196-65.eu/websvn/f ... undnet.xml

http://ns334561.ip-5-196-65.eu/terrasyn ... undnet.xml

additionally we have new ones that were auto converted from apt.dat

if you want to commit a new groundnet then contact Torsten D.
and also me so I can add it to my skip-list so that it will not be overwritten by an auto-converted one.

That did happen already in terrasync. 238 days ago.

I meant functional ones. I had a look at the very good results you had with KATL (separate thread) and this is very encouraging. Still when I tested LFPG and WSSS from your download link they are still in "straight from apt.dat conversion" state ie no pushback routes and all ParPos oriented north 0 degrees. My guess is that this is still WIP on your side.

Cheers
