Looks like a good day for AI updates, great work as usual Ian :)

I've not had much time for FG lately but here's what I've done so far.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/v63y6gkc48akgiz/AI-07-2016.zip

New models
Saab 2000
Jetstream 41

New Traffic
Eastern Airways
WOW Air
Edelweiss Air
Etihad Regional / Darwin Airline

A couple of new liveries for future traffic files have also been added.

Updates to A319/20/21 ac files so they now are visible at night.

Please let me know if you find any problems with them.

Fanstastic JOB :))))))))))))

I'd want to be in traffic AI aircraft, ERJ 195, 190 ---- Lufthansa, KLM and British Airlines.

Awesome Brett ! I think V3 will be AI Galore. I am releasing full updates to British Airways, Air France and Thai this week end, including new A380 and 787. Qatar and Etihad will be next

Thanks for those Ian :)

Next on my list is the ATR-72.

Has anyone done liveries for HOP!, if not I'll do them?

I have completed the update of the Etihad traffic file.

It looks like they are progressing fast with their new livery "Facets of Abu Dhabi" rollover. I have the Brand Guideline documents with me so I'll redo the liveries for the entire fleet (319 320 321 332 333 33X 345 346 380 744 772 773 77L

not sure if Etihad Regional will inherit the same design ... will investigate

Cheer
Ian

Ok, shout if you want help. I'm sure these airlines only change liveries just to keep us on our toes ;)

I thought that when reseaching the regional livery but found no indications of a change, maybe it's because they are flown by Darwin, then again who knows what they'll do in the future!

Just let us know what traffic files you are creating or updating and we will add the liveries when required.

Thanks a lot Brett. I think it will be ok. At least they are only straight lines. Although I have to admit, with my 5 colors and 15,000 triangles I understand even less that trend of Adult Colouring Books ... nothing relaxing here !

Take care
Ian

 Initial impressions are it's a nightmare but it's not so bad when you break it down. I've done worse mainly the new AA tail and a couple of the BA "art" tails, no doubt there will more strange liveries for us to tear our hair out over in the future.

Hop! liveries done for the AI models that we actually have, others will be done when we have the models, looks like a long bodied CRJ may be on my todo list in the future.

As I've not heard of any problems so far with these I shall ask someone on the dev. list in the next few days if they would be kind enough to commit them.

A word of caution to aircraft modellers out there. It looks like Airlines are going crazy with more and more patterns on top of fuselages (Malaysia, Thai, El Al etc). Our current UV 'side' mapping creates a lot of livery blur and unexpected curves with these designs. I recommend to map the Top of the fuselage with a top projection rather than side. Etihad is an extreme example but I am pretty sure we will see more of these in the near future.

As per request in viewtopic.php?f=23&t=14221&start=120

- 747-400 remapped to accommodate Top of Fuselage designs
- All existing 744 74Y 74F liveries updated and merged to GIT
- Work started on El Al liveries for 747, 74F, 77L and 77W

- 767-300 will be remapped but not until May (lot of existing liveries to check/update)
