Your computer has integrated Intel GPU and this is not enough for decent run simulator :(

If You have nVidia 210, then You have problem, this is very old snd very weak card. You need some better, reasonable minimum is GTX 750, optimal is 1060 and better.

Today is not good time for buy new graphic card, but if You have not any other choice, buy 730. It is far better than 210, but still not enough for all eye candy stuff.

GT730s work ok... it is what i use in this box and another... both are able to operate FG on linux pretty well but you have to keep some of the graphics turned down to get decent frame rates...

i used to fly all over the place at 10+FPS with little to no problems... i do, however, have a pretty powerful CPU... it is a 4Ghz 8-core AMD 8350FX in this and the other system... FG does a lot of work on the CPU so you might find some differences there... it should also be noted that FG is single core for the most part so my other 7 cores are not even in play when i use FG on this system...

a friend has a laptop with an intel chip and i don't know what GPU it has but he is able to run the exact same FG with the exact same settings i use at a slightly higher FPS on a slightly slower CPU...

"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Ok, thank you. Do you have the single DVD or the 6 DVD version of FG?

neither... since FG is completely free, i update my local repositories of the source code occasionally and build my own binaries... as i'm on linux, this way is easier for me and i'm able to stay on the leading edge of the releases as well as the bleeding edge of development code...

i also have every craft available (over 600 at last count) in the default FG hanger... these also come from the FG repository and i update them occasionally just like i do the source code...

additionally, i have every bit of the scenery downloaded for the entire world except for the new OSM stuff... this because the method i used when i got the scenery is no longer viable or available for use but i've also been using FG since late 2014 early 2015 period... so since i cannot update my scenery like i used to do, some of it is falling behind in the updates but that's not really a big deal because it will be updated when i fly over/near it...

not sure why you would want to do that if you have disks... but that begs the questions of "where you got those disks from?" and "which version of FG do you have?"

media containing FG can be purchased from the FG folks on their site... the money from those purchases go toward the project...

there are others out there selling media with FG, too, though... they can do that... the licensing allows for it to be done but they must provide all the support as well as the source code...

of course, any media purchased containing FG may be slightly behind the current release... that should not be a problem, though, as one should still be able to download newer versions and install them... that would bring them updated binaries as well as updated FGData... the scenery is easiest updated by enabling the automatic scenery download (aka terrasync) in the launcher... the craft are also easily updated from within the launcher...
