2020.3.8: water around instead of KSFO (2020.1.2 is fine)

Hello guys,
I'm packaging FG for ALT Linux since 2006 (remember 0.9.10?), and sporadically finding the time to reread Cessna or Tu-154 startup docs and "fly" for an hour or two.
My current problem/question is probably related to data (mis)packaging: upon updating ALT FG RPMs from 2020.1.2 to 2020.3.8, starting plain fgfs with no options suddenly results in sea "terrain" around instead of the expected KSFO.
The data tarball is just repackaged, there seem to be no files/dirs getting installed but not packaged.
Had a look at fedora's 2020.3.8 data spec and there's nothing special about it...
I'm sure missing something but hope that those more in the know spot this and point me in the right direction.
TIA :-)

PS: FlightGear 2020 builds just fine on e2k arch (aka Elbrus/Elbrus 2000) which is Russian 64-bit LE VLIW one; some profiling/optimization is due but overall, it does run acceptably on my Elbrus 801-PC workstation (8-core 1300 MHz Elbrus-8C CPU, 32 Gb of DDR3-1333 RAM, RX580).

KSFO hasn't been the airport included with the base installation for a while. For 2020.3.x, it's BIKF (Keflavik, Iceland).
There are free alternatives to (almost) every program you encounter. You just have to find them.

Ah, thank you. Wonder if BIKF should really have runwaves instead of runways though...
