Happy Friday (weekend)!
I sure hope someone can make my weekend. I have been trying to run the 2017 version of flightgear for quite some time now, meanwhile I have been using 2016.4.0 which works although I really want to enjoy upgrade to 2017. So just a few minutes ago I updated the package 2017.4.0 using "sudo apt-get update" and then of course "upgrade" afterwards and it appeared to go well.
So I am assuming the path to fgfs is located here /usr/games/fgfs, so using the console I attempt to launch the program but receive the error message below, by the way I am using Ubuntu 17.04 or 5 .
john@LINUXHOME:/usr/games$ ./fgfs --launcher
./fgfs: symbol lookup error: ./fgfs: undefined symbol: _ZN5nasal14ContextWrapperC2EP7Context
Thank-you and enjoy your evenings!
John
