Citation-X stuff

IFR approach to Chennai, India today. Down to minimums with moderate turbulence.
Recorded in HD 1920x1080. Full screen is best.

I use OBS. I run it on my 4th display if I want to record. I usually start recording when there is a possibility of a crash, kinda like the "Vulture's Nest" camera on an aircraft carrier.

I like it because I have it set to record any of the three displays with the click of a mouse.

I use OBS too, but on Win 10 have strange problems with it. Recorded video is sometime tearing, flashing etc., other time is perfectly OK. And what is even stranger, these problems are visible only in case of FlightGear recordings, other recordings from for example P3D, FarmSim, Mudrunner are flawless. On Linux is all OK. For example - more than 3 hours video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JiEkv0xJac without any glitch.

Another sunny day in San Fransisco and Hilo. ;) A couple short segments starting at about 6 mile final.
KSFO was not bad. A steady wind straight down the runway.
PHTO was a different story.
Full screen makes it easier to read the instruments. 1080i HD.

Not to hijack the thread but I've had some issues with OBS and MudRunner. It only "sees" it if it's not in full-screen, and the recording is at a whopping 10 frames per second with a long freeze about every four seconds or so. MudRunner itself is running fine through the whole thing. Recording anything else seems to work fine though.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Get my custom FG liveries here: https://flightgearhusky.altervista.org/

I'm off at college so I've stopped making liveries (for the time being, at least), but I'm continuing to ensure compatibility for the ones I've already published.

I don't have a problem with OBS. I run 4 displays, 3 FG and 1 record control, with everything active, like real/advanced weather. I get about 30 frames/second whether recording or not. Doesn't seem to make a difference.

I have the displays set up as separate windows instead of one giant display. I can choose which of the displays I want to record.

Edit: Some night approaches with WoodSTokk's compositor lights.

Testing the modified autopilot in my version Citation. Night ILS to Kuala Lumpur.
The first few seconds is a bit blurry. Something with YouTube processing?
Heading to localizer feature. ATC uses this a lot. I know. I did. Los Angeles ARTCC.
Autopilot glideslope intercept smooth as silk.
Glideslope intercept and autopilot disable annunciators, just like the "big boys".
Still missing a good CDU.

@1'30" and onwards, standby AH does not agree with PFD. Is that intentional? a glitch? a bug?

If you are speaking of the standby attitude indicator (artificial horizon), then yes, it precesses like a gyro would. One must cage it now and then. Note in the video I do cage it on final @5:04.
When I got the aircraft from the hangar, the AH wouldn't cage. It would precess with no way of correcting it. Now the cage works.
