Some screens I took a while back of Madrid while testing OSM2City  (slightly old FG with a very minor misc lighting issue that's fixed now). I was playing around with settings testing the rendering dialog changes, so some scenery options might have been turned off:

Hazy/smoggy day:

Leaning skyscrapers. Road lighting becomes visible:

Spain is an area that has good OSM2City coverage, global scenery database models like these leaning buildings, and modern regional definitions that use newer engine features.

Kind regards

Was that a Piper PA-28? How did you manage to fly without a vertical stabilizer?

the vertical stabilizer is the one that controls your yaw (left/right)... that's the one missing in your video... the horizontals are still in place... they control your pitch...

in any case, i suspect a simple graphics glitch... perhaps there was some note on the console or maybe even in the log...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

As your nose gear is also missing, I suspect this is the crash&stress system working

Are you sure you're not mixing things up? Maybe it's the video's perspective but it looks like:
Image
red: vertical stabilizer (gone)
blue: horizontal stabilizer (present)

To remember it simply: The horizontal stabilizer is parallel to the horizon (in a level flight attitude ;) )
