initial impression: those first 5 look like a poor (re)build of the scenery without the needed data massaging or possibly tweaking of the terragear parameters... more investigation is needed...

Dunno if this is related, but I have spotted in the past a difference between --enable-terrasync; which looks very good; and --disable-terrasync combined with --fg-scenery=/something/WorldScenery/ (downloaded with a wget from some server, 18G of data) which is good but quite less accurate in the regions I have explored!

Follow the entire Colorado River by plane? Can that be done? Just try I thought. On April 25, 2021, I took off from Fort Collins Airport in search of the source at “Long Draw Reservoir”. With my favorite Cessna-337G in yellow, it went HDG 280 and ~ 35Nm to the mountains, 3100m +. Don't forget the Mix. reset for power. Across the lake at the “Poudre Pass” to “Grand Lake” and Grandby. Just land here and continue. This first day ended with the landing at Mc Elroy or Kremmling Airport. The entire distance of 2330 km (~ 2000 km) should be possible in 15-16 stages. Below a short impression of the flight. (A bit choppy at times, ~ 8-15 FPS). Link-0.1 Fort Collins. https://youtu.be/oClYYPYpD2E
Link-1.1 Bron - https://youtu.be/18aeuEaq2zc
To be continued. —— (editing a picture is stil a my problem on this forum/site)

Following the entire Colorado River from Denver to ... the Ocean ..!? Can that be done?
The more than 2200 km are cut into pieces of ~ 150 km. weekly. I thought it would be a great challenge in this “Online World”. After 5 stages I am in Moab. Seen many beautiful small canyons. Every trip is a story. Let ‘s go to Page and Lake Powell. The Grand Canyon is still a long way to go. Follow Colorado River from Source to Ocean: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=39122 or the last link: https://youtu.be/8enDOSudJYo

On April 25, 2021, I took off from Fort Collins Airport near Denver for this new challenge.
Follow the Colorado River from its source to the ocean. It is a trip more then 2000 km. along the
upper part through Grand Junction, Moab, to Page at Lake Powell, .... where I am now. It’s Fun...
The trip continues through the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam to Baja California.
After 7 trips online-flying, more than 150 km every week, I am halfway along the Colorado River.
The aircraft types; the C337, the Diamond, the DC3/C47, the Piper PA34 and the Cessna 208.
