And actually, most of the old buildings in Paris are really like that !

Does all the bridges required to jump in the middle to pass to the other side too? ;)

Short trip trough Great Canyon, beautiful scenery!
But i forgot to put off my C182S‘s winter kit so i needed to carefully monitor my CHT or risk my engine...

Interflug Tu-144 ad:

INTERFLUG:
From Schönefeld to Lake Balaton in less than 14 minutes!*

*Don't forget to apply for tickets at least 5 years prior to desired departure"

Wanting to push the Cessna 172P to its limits, I took it for a short flight over the Sindhu (Indus) River Valley, starting from the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (VILH), Leh, Union Territory of Ladakh, India and headed towards Skardu (OPSD), Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. All in all, the Cessna managed to reach a max altitude of 13,600' before it began to gasp for breath. Still, the 180hp Lycoming engine was able to keep the plane (with 2 full fuel tanks and an 82kg pilot) cruising at 80 knots, which was a pleasant surprise.

Skardu is very difficult destination for liners like A320 or 737, with piston prop Cessna it must be on the edge between death and live :)

Take A320 or 737, take off from OPIS (Islamabad), and fly to OPSD (Skardu), high altitude, thin air, no STAR, no approach procedure, only visual, wild gusty wind. And in the vicinity deadly lady Nanga Parbat :)

OK, i see what you mean :)
Looks like a challenge. Are the winds etc there simulated properly by flightgear?

With advanced weather, terrain presampling and other features activated wind over Skardu may be very nasty.
