... and that's how the real thing looks - FG is pretty close.

We also have a GC hires custom scenery which was made for FSWeekend with much better elevation resolution (that really annoyed the FSX folks at FSWeekend, because such a thing simply didn't exist for their sim :D )

No, it was after hard turns and speed drop under 150 kts on FLAPS 2 probably as Alpha Floor protection. I pushed nose down, but flight computer was faster than me and activated TOGA. It is not bug or error, only logical computer reaction. Bus had not designed to perform this stunts.

Where can I download that hires GC ? It is very good test area for aircrafts and pilots  And yes, in this case is FG pretty close to the reality even without photoscenery.

Some pics from test flight VEBD - VQPR. I'm working on better regional Asia material schemes. Few minutes after take off from VEBD :

As You can see, with replaced textures I achieved de-tiled terrain.

Landed at rwy 15 : The hill in distance with VOR PRO has new material too, it is better blended with surrounding terrain

Backtrack to the terminal :

I added some trees for better feeling.

Been adjusting the old Horten HO.IX's fdm. In an attempt make it into a real flying wing in YASim.

Suddenly it has become quite a handful in pitch control and has some serious yaw vagaries. Getting YAsim to accept the final edition with the extremely narrow approach requirements took a few days.

It has a proclivity to want to dispense with normal flight envelopes and become a maple seed. So pitch and yaw adjustments have to be done gently. The first few times it happened I reverted to my Il-2 '46 default response and kept hitting 'ctrl E' expecting to be able to eject.
