That mission would have more than doubled Gemini 11's record apogee of 739 nm.

It was a while ago, but I remembered to have a run even farther after the OMS kit was installed and well understood, fully loaded it gets you a boost of +1500 ft/s and optimizing MECO, you can really go high, up to 4000nm of apogee.

Reentry is hard, 3 aerobrakings on the top of atmosphere needed. The links should still work, hopefully :)
