The beginner's guide to FlightGear
From Novice to Master

Welcome to the forum post for my new YouTube series! This is the first time I record audio separately from the video, which so far has proven really useful.

Episode plan
Episodes in Italics are planned.
  1. What is FlightGear?
  2. Installation
  3. Getting started with the --launcher
  4. Basic controls (Common keys, WX dialog, etc...)
  5. Drivin' the Cessna
  6. Get in the air (take off and stay alive )
  7. Flying the Numbers (stabilized flight)
  8. Going Around (The traffic pattern)
  9. Landing the plane
And now, the first video...

Yep - very good work with concept and cutting, not boring a single second, all elements contributing to the message.

Great work. I think you’ve done a particularly good job to keep it short and “tight” with a good script. Also, your enthusiasm comes across really well.

The second video is out!

As the title says, this video covers the installation and first-start of FlightGear, among a couple of food jokes

About location... I'll make sure to change the one in the --launcher, otherwise I don't have privacy concerns. Thanks for the poke!

Edit: And @michat, you can teach us about SEO if you want.

just tell me if you have Mumble installed, will made things easier.

We should take 5 minutes changing some words in your videos, add especial comment (exo ring power) which you can use then in other videos, just with a small adaptation for your specifics titles, the ring power will help us. Finally see instantly, as a fact that your video is Number 1.
However you will compete with two of other FG friends that I helped to place their tubes on top. I mean first day you'll be number one but your position will vary on the 3 best positions (by user, were you are three FG'ers). In several days you'll reach + 60 visits average + the visits you already have. That's not a huge amount, but in a month period you'll get the same results as others fgtubers in 1 year (unrankers) that's equivalent in time, so don't expect K, however you'll be on the heading first.

I'm not Seo, just that I got a theory, I realized how to get on top for FG. We tried once, it worked like a charm, we tried twice, did work too. We tried, new tubes upon user, and is working superb, we have control over the top billboard switch.

For the nature of your productions, want to help you. The ring is designed also to help 3rd party tubes without they even know that the are helping others. Of course outer ring is yeahtube, the first beneficiary, of the gerrilla tags.

I'm trying to keep my views organic and my channel a pastime hobby. But I might consult you about the script/title/description of my videos ;)

Offtopic: I DID once use a "Tags Only" section at the bottom of the description, but I no longer do it. And since I have always considered it spam, I kept it to 3 relevant words anyway.

I don't think we have used tags to place videos on top.
Strategic title and description, should be enough.

Tell me if you have mumble installed for voice com. That's will help us, to do it faster.

Here's my question: What does it say about the platform that content doesn't even feature in this list?

I'd hope the videos get well-known because they're good and people find them interesting - not because someone made a strategic description and optimized the title.
