I take it then the reason you've posted the videos is not that you're interested in critique but rather something else. Sorry for bothering you with the question then.

I haven't read the latest responses, but I kinda agree that I find many of the videos posted around here kinda "boring" - I mean, it's not that I am necessarily looking for something that is entertaining or amusing, but at the very least, please make it at least a little "interesting" - as in, adding explanations, comments or even just "details" - no matter if that means overlaying text, zooming into details (think frequencies), opening GUI dialogs (think map/radio dialog) or just annotating your video with a little audio.

Obviously, something that is visually appealing doesn't need tons of technical details, but many videos are indeed relatively boring, showing 5+ minutes of an airplane flying in air, without any surrounding context, and without much happening at all.

My suggestion would be to post some examples here of good videos and then come up with ideas on creating such videos, e.g. along the lines of this: http://wiki.flightgear.org/Howto:Creati ... omo_Videos

I don't think, that this needs to be very difficult or tons of work - in general, most videos could be using a fairly similar "script", as in introductory info (aircraft, approach, airport, runway, frequencies - show the airport dialog/diagram and approach chart). Basically, stuff like that - maybe in conjunction with making things a little interesting (think cat III approach).
Please don't send support requests by PM, instead post your questions on the forum so that all users can contribute and benefit

@PavlinSierra

I fly long-haul once in while, I did Singapore to München (part of some long-haul leg weekend of mine) two weeks ago, with a stopover Calcutta (for refueling). I mostly fly short-haul in Europe, because it is more fun, and I can land and take-off more. Also, because I try to fly on VATSIM mostly, short-haul is easier, as for long-haul I would have to be at my PC every 30 min (VATSIM rules). Also, the most realistic plane in FG is a short-haul one at the moment (A320Family), which means I prefer to fly that. Some nice screens of my flight yesterday (Amsterdam to Frankfurt in the A320neo PW):

@PavlinSierra

Really? Edit your last post so that nobody can see what you wrote? Thats not really fair, saying everyone insults you, and then you destroying the evidence what you did... I was almost done with my paragraph about why you are not the best pilot in FG, but I guess nevermind then. Maybe you can join one of the A320Family training sessions, so that you can learn to actually fly a plane (and the most realistic plane in FG too).

I am called a troll in here. So I decide to delete whatever I wrote in this topic. What kind of justice you are talking about I do not understand, you are the most annoying person in here, you have no write judgy staff for other people. As I said - I will not post my videos here. Now am preparing a vid, that will be 1 hour and it will be lot more wealthy on views and staff. And please, stop talking to me. I do not like you at all.

Sorry Pavlin, but You are really troll :

Most experienced pilots don't land into the dirt :

PavlinS wrote in Thu May 18, 2017 6:13 pm:I am on 18 place as a flight time in the tracker...

It is very simple and easy to be in 18th place in tracker by flight time - take off, climb to cruise level, then decelerate time for example to 1/32 realtime for many hours, then set timewarp to the realtime and continue :

How You will explain other way speed near zero at FL416 ? And that fact is in many of Your flight logs...

Pilot's experience is not counted by flight hours, but count of succesfull flawless take off / landings. Do You remember Asiana 214 crash at KSFO ? The crew had many thousands flight hours and many automated ILS landings, but they were unexperienced with full manual approach and landing :(

Not to add fuel to this, but V12's post moved me to check the tracker page for Pavlin, well now you have deleted all your post content so can't be retrieved, but there's a bit in Discord where you say:
PavlinS - Yesterday at 13:49
Sorry. 777 forever....... Sorry. Eny plane other than this is bad!!!!!!!!
[...]
witch aircrafts in this sim are good?>?????
You have to see my tracker page, dear @Kokos34 . To seee that IN HER HAS MORE THAN 777 FAMILY!
https://fgtracker.ml/modules/fgtracker/ ... GN=PavlinS
Se e it. Than you can talk to me like that.

To prove you have flew more that just the 777. Now, this is the present tracker page:

Many of those planes did never got off the ground, and some with a minimal flight time.
Now my probably stupid question is, how much experience do you really have on all those planes?
Just wonderin'...

Very nice screens Charlie, I love those HD Tiles on the ground, looks good.

Hey Pavlin relax a bit :)
You are saying that constructive criticism is nothing for you and you want to make money with your video, so why do you post your "art" on a forum, which basically is a place to speak and learn from others/ sharing ? ;)

You are a crack with 777? So avoid to land with an approach speed more than 20 kts above Vref like I saw in your video ;)

Hi All,

I've locked this topic. As people have very succinctly said already - it's a trainwreck. I've also removed a personal attack using language which is not appropriate, as noted in the Forum Rules, and issued a warning.
