I guess he doesn't make the 3D Models himself.

A lot of work has to be put into it to make it Flightgear compatible. And I try to make sure certain details closely mimic Rolls Royce. Like the wheels for example. The logo doesn't spin when the wheels do.

I know, I am the one who created the Jeep, which your model is based on (including errors ;-)). However, you once stated the 3D Models originate from GTA 5. Nothing wrong with that, these can be obtained from various sources, including Google 3d Warehouse and Turbosquid, but the license details are not clear (at least to me). So I doubt that you're allowed to release these models under the GPL3. Apart from that it is a matter of fairness to name the source of your 3D Models. I found nothing in the readme or model files.

I don't want to discourage you from making cars and porting those models (I like the Camper). All of the above are formal things and can be easily fixed by changing the License.

Thanks DFaber. I think my projects are based on lamborghini murcielago with some editing. Maybe that project is based on your jeep.

I am not sure with the license. Which one do you think is more suited than GPL3?

Well, you have to know where your Models Come from and how they are licensed and then decide...

I guess you better make it CC BY-NC-SA (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike), because the GTA Makers wouldn't like anybody selling their models.

I hope you have found anything written by them, stating that you may use these models at all. If not, you better ask.

Pretty cool all your work.

I think camper can be reusable for towering control ( with addition of some anthenas on top) as seen in some real life tiny airfields, in some other simulators as well.
