Here are some pictures of my long-haul flight from Tonopah Test Range (KTNX) to San Francisco International (KSFO). I flew a Boeing 747-400 and was escorted by "redtwo" in his JA-37 Viggen. (And yes, for those of you wondering, this is FlightGear. I managed to get these incredible graphics by maxing out my "Brightness" and "Gamma" sliders under the "Filters" options) Please let me know what you think of these screenshots and if you want to see more like this!

Nice!

Now, if you want to be really fancy, you can define a corresponding lightmap for the reflection cubemap for the glass, and then you can have reflections of lit vs. unlit cockpit in the glass.

Flying along the rugged coast of the Kenai Mountains (Alaska) in poor weather conditions.

Image

Eek - right before my turn into final I got into a rain shower with visibility deteriorating (no, there's no ILS here, nor any radio becaon...)

Image

When I had the runway in view, landing looked doable although I wasn't on a perfect glideslope, so I got the bird down anyway. STOL capabilities sometimes come in *very* handy - I had a bit to spare, but not much.

Took the 707 to Mallorca, Spain.
Departure at SXF Berlin (EDDB). Looking out the window at about 7000ft:

Dawn at KBOS with upcoming FG version and osm2city scenery plus FGUK Aero Commander:

Showing animated traffic by Thorsten. Lighting of roads is not yet so good [i.e. which roads are lit and which not], as OSM data is often lacking land-use data.

Downtown has quite some stuff in the water due to difference between FG scenery shorelines and OSM data.

That was Mav Force Two...

Anyway had a great flight with Josh earlier before the FGUK FlightNight from LIMC to EDDF flying two great planes, A321-200 (IAE) for him and my new product, the Boeing C-32J-20 with Pratt & Whitney PW2040 engines available as VIP transport plane for those who want one.
As usual great service by jomo at Frankfurt ;)
