After watching some clever youtube videos saying that weather preparation is important and IMC is dangerous, I was without checking anything cruising around in North Dakota in the lovely C172.

Only to see me following the cloud base lower and lower until it touched the ground. Classic mistake.

So it was back to safe mode, gaining altitude and switching to IFR.

Perfect landing after a VOR-DME 17R in Grand Forks.

Thanks for making flightgear into something I truly enjoy!

wow....truly deja vu....
I was playing with Torsten's new MP map yesterday when I saw 3 or 4
planes somewhere over the ocean very close to each other following
the same route. I was really confident of an error in Torsten's map....
And what do I see here...the map and my eyes weren't wrong but my brain was

I apologize Torsten for suspecting his map
(indeed, I really love the map's look and interface)...
