These days I haven't got as much time and I really don't want to pay out of my nose for the odd flying session so FG fits my need quite well :) I was pleased to see the Twin Otter was modelled to a pretty good degree so I decided to take it for a spin round the south of France, namely from a small airfield near Saint Etienne across the Alps and the Med to Bastia on the island of Corsica. I should add that I usually fly with the date set to the current local time and live weather so if the winds turn out to be super bad or the runway at my destination is fogged in or something and I haven't got an ILS equipped plane I might have to divert, but looking at the METAR for Bastia there should be no risk. Only a few scattered clouds and temps around 20 C, the only problem is that with the estimated flying time of 2:20 hours I'll arrive only just before local sunset so I had better get a move on :D

very nice flight disguisedelk !
and welcome to flightgear :)

What's up with the logo light? It should be off, unless you were climbing with flaps 3?
I'll check... sometime...

Two flights I did on VATSIM yesterday, first from Madeira (LPMA) to Jerez (LEJR), and afterwards from Jerez to Madrid-Barajas (LEMD). The second flight was together with it0uchpods, who flew on regular FGMP (seperate server). Of course the aircraft is the IDG A320neo PW. All the flight planning was done on Simbrief, where I then exported a flightplan to be imported to the FG routemanager, which will soon not be used by the IDG aircraft anymore.

Since I flew on VATSIM, I had use SIDs and STARs, see it0uchpods' post for the two pics :D

All you need is to add a 3D model of a pillow :)

Grob! Awesome, will have to try that. Awesome aircraft.

Is it a special version from FGUK? Have you a link, or is it from FGADDON?

Copy. I took a look at the hangar, couldn't find it. I'll look again, and check the forums part ;)

Er, sorry, found it: in civil piston!
