707-xx pics

A successful refueling at fl350 over the British Indian Ocean. Considering it was my first ever air to air refueling it went fairly well.

BTW, the EC-137D is a 707 with AWACS as you can see in the pics. D-MKF1 (Marc, the dev) was the very patient fellow in the 707-TT.

More to come.

(corrected callsign with apologies)

This evening I have a nice refuelling with 3-m, too.

Wow! That's the best aerial refuelling screenshot I have seen so far. It even beats this one: 8)

Oh, I wish. Do you happen to have an BDA (boom drogue adapter, in essence a drogue trailing from a short hose mounted on the end of the boom)? The only jet I am kind of flown in on is a probe equipped fighter.

Some data sources, maybe useful for both boom and drouge-and-probe refuelling:

According to the English Wikipedia the refuelled endurance record is civillian and made using a modified Cessna C172 in 1958. It flew non-stop in a closed circuit for about two months.

The position above, we hold only for a very short moment :-))

The other fighters support the 707-TT/KC137D with probe and drogues, too.
But I have only tested the A-6E and the F16 with success.
Also the fighters can't give feedback to the operator officer in the Tanker.

Ah, did not notice the hose pods in the first screenshots. :)
