You should be able to change it using Phi which has a property browser which runs in your web browser https://wiki.flightgear.org/Phi
The Path is /sim/model/livery/name
Change that to the livery name of your choice and it should switch to that (didn't test this)

Actually there is already a Canvas-based property browser in FGData - I'll see if I can get James to add a key binding for it.

You only need to update your FGData - no changes to the C++ code have been made (thus the executables were not changed).

great to hear, congrats for finally getting the canvas UI stuff committed - it's taken MANY years meanwhile to retire PUI once and for all. I haven't been following the project lately, so it's nice to see that progress was being made behind the scenes after all !!

Well, since you have HDR you must be using some kind of nightly build, right - where did you get your FGData from ? Just update it from where you got it originally, and you should have the new shortcut (which now is Ctrl+/ (Ctrl+Shift+7 for QWERTZ keyboard users) by the way) ! :)

Good morning,

Yes as mentioned above I assumed from this location here: https://download.flightgear.org/builds/nightly; I also assumed that the FGDATA was included along with the executable. I usually pull the the 2nd file from the top down should I be pulling the latest nightly full instead? I also recall a Jenkins website that was more intuitive and had selections for all operating systems.

they are the same... latest full nightly doesn't change names when next changes version numbers... that makes it easier to script if one uses a script to pull the latest for their installation...

Ah you're on Windows, where FGData is bundled inside the .exe - I didn't know that, in that case all you need to do is grab that latest version of that .exe file and you should be able to bring up the Canvas property browser by pressing Ctrl+/ (or Ctrl+Shift+7 for QWERTZ keyboard users), without further trouble ! :D

for the whatever-full ones, yes... for the ones without -full in the name there's something somewhere pointing to how to get FGData only so the smaller without -full ones will be operational... that goes for both, win and mac...
