Today I'm flying the Bombardier CSeries (Airbus A220) by C-FWES from Frankfurt-Hahn to Varna.

Link to aircraft: https://github.com/Next-Level-Simulations/CSeries

As of now, only the A220-100 is under development. The reason being that the A220-100 and the A220-300 have the exact same systems, just different flight models. When the A221 is developed to a decent state, then the A223 can be developed.

To the Edge of Airlift!

Thanks to some "features" of our FG's concorde, such as unlimited Exaust Gas Temperature and infinite heat resistance, we can explore the boundaries of airlift :)

At last, mutliple engine and instrument failures at Mach 16, too bad, 10 more Machs and you can reach orbit :)

Searched a bit on the forum, is your baby this one?

https://github.com/BAWV12/Concorde

Why not pushing it onto fgaddon, it is indeed much nicer!?

Yes, this thirsty old girl is my. And here is in the action - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JiEkv0xJac
I can't push it to fgaddon because some source files are freeware and was not released under the GPL2 licence.

they should be easy enough to replace with a little love and attention...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

And why ? That files are freeware, without any licence. It is waste time to re-create them and release under GPL2. For me, absence of the licence is OK, if You have problem with it, do not use it. If someone want it and have not problem with absence GPL2, they can download and install it manually without any problems.

And why ?

Oh, I dunno. To be known as someone who does something useful for a change perhaps?

Every fool can take improperly licensed content from somewhere and create a super-duper addon for FG which produces stunning screenshots, but... sadly... can't be enjoyed by the rest of us.

If developers would routinesly ask 'and why' - we wouldn't have a simulator. We have a simulator because people invest the extra work to create properly licensed content - which others can build upon.

You seriously didn't know that????

I did not mean to start a war :) But, if a list of these files would appear in a README, this would allow others to replace them?

You really did a good job on the plane, the thrust seems realistic and won't push you into space, barely Mach 2 :) This deserves to be FG default!

Oh and „no license“ != free game.
The default regulation for copyright then applies and most countries disallow publishing or using that content without the authors consent in this case.
At least the author should use the wtf license or explicitely put it into the public domain.
