Is it possible to get the click position on an AI object ?

Postby mhab » Sat Dec 29, 2018 7:07 pm

I can get the position where a click occured on terrain/landscape from "/sim/input/click/..." and via the Nasal function geo.click_position();
If however I click e.g. on the deck of a carrier this position is not set, as I havn't touched the terrain.

My question is, if there is a way to find out - on Nasal level - where I clicked on the object ?
i.e. I would like to know more precisely where I clicked, than a pick animation would tell me, which fires in any case if I pick the object and doesn't tell me where I touched it.

Thanks

Hi, not sure what exactly you have in mind, but the jetways stuff is implemented in Nasal and uses click-able "AI objects" (animated jetways).
