When and why were the props /orientation/model/ removed

Postby mhab » Tue Mar 21, 2017 12:50 am

Hello

I stumbled over the fact that in FG 2017 some properties were removed.
specifically /orientation/model/heading-deg, etc.

They seem to be moved to /orientation/heading-deg

Q1: When and why was this done ?
Q2: How to prevent missing out on such incompatible changes ?

I simply cannot work full time on FG and it is kind of frustrating to hunt down all kinds of incomaptibilties ...

Not so happy lately with FG 2017

As far as I know it has been like that since I started using FG, so 2012 I think. (at least for JSBSim aircraft)
I suspect if some were model/ it was due to custom code in aircraft.
