controls/gear/tiller-enabled can not be default true

Postby Hyde » Sat Jul 02, 2016 7:17 pm

I changed the controls/gear/tiller-enabled property default to true on 777.
But it always starts false. It can be changed after that.
This happens only Fedora or may be linux. On Windows10 it starts with true.
Do you know why and can be fixed?

Thanks,
Hyde

Maybe try this:

In the -set.xml search for this
Code: Select all
<sim>
   [...]
    <aircraft-data>
        [...]
    </aircraft-data>
    [...]
</sim>

Inside the <aircraft-data> section, add the following:
Code: Select all
<path>/controls/gear/tiller-enabled</path>

Then, when you start FG, set controls/gear/tiller-enabled to true, and then exit FG using ESC -> ENTER. The value of the property will be written to a data file and is read during next startup.

It works, thank you.

No problem, my pleasure! :)

This approach has the advantage that users who don't want to have tiller enabled by default can also set it up that way.
