New "TOOLTIP READY" Icon

Postby mhab » Thu Feb 26, 2015 11:35 am

Hello

Please check the following addition to the FG-Wiki: I derived a new TOOLTIP READY icon, and first used it for the EC130 heli.
See: http://wiki.flightgear.org/FlightGear_l ... eady_logos and http://wiki.flightgear.org/Eurocopter_E ... Gear_Model

I hope this is in consense with the idea of aircraft marking logos.

It is not perfect in style (font) and please feel free to improve or remove it, if it is not a useful addition

Hi Mike, I have the original free font in my crashed PC but I can't access to it. Your edition is good enough, and the tooltip icon was needed. I created them with the FG's Bug icon by "motu propio" (own initiative) with good aceptance by the community. If there is a consense? the answer is yes as many people have addopted them, however there are other smaller icons created by other user for the aircraft infobox. Be free to choose the style you want.

The Heli is awesome.

Thanks you for your work.

Ouch. Too bad, it looked really good. :(

The letters you need are in fact all on the surviving icons, so you could take them from there with a graphics program... :-)
