Route planer/Map

Postby Jabberwocky » Tue Apr 15, 2014 5:41 am

Hi,

strange things happen when you fly in the 747 from Honululu to Hongkong. Whith the route-button, the way leads via Canada. If I try instead, to enter waypoints manually (Midway and then Tokyo for example) the route on the map leads instead through Mexico.
What I don't know, is that plane specific or general a problem. Did someone see similar effects?

J.

Okay, tested it, it's only the map as it look. The plane basically "jumps" to the other map-side, but since there is no frame or border at ab. 180 W/E, it looks just weird that the map shows a rout from W180 to E180 as long line cross the whole active map area.

I can't wait for FlightGear 3.2. I have seen the previous versions of this game and it has improved so much! :)
