1.12.1 Changelog

Postby Necolatis » Sun Dec 08, 2013 7:46 am

I have looked on the webpage, forums, wiki and bugtracker. But can find no mention of what is fixed in 1.12.1.

I am curious what was changed?

Same here. I would have expected to see it on the page with the downloads. In fact I'm a bit surprised that 1.12.1 2.12.1 was not more or less officially announced on the forum.

EDIT: Err, typo. Thank Gijs!

EDIT 2: Hey, even the name of the topic...

Here's the log of commits:
https://gitorious.org/fg/fgdata/commits ... 4ba06c293d

I dunno when the release was, but anything after that will be new in 2.12.1 vs 2.12.0. This happens to include one or two by me ;).

There's not just fgdata ;-)
The biggest fixes are for Windows users: no more navcache rebuild on every start (long startup time) and route manager/autopilot works again.

PS: hope we're talking about 2.12.1 here instead of 1.12.1...

Oh yeah, that's right...

Here's a quick hack for a list of issues that were closed between July 17th (aka official release time; I think it was delayed though?) and the first of this month:

And the commit logs for FG & SG:

Most of those closed issues didn't make it into the bugfix release, because they were either new features or bugs introduced in Git 2.99 (after the 2.12 release). The commit logs are really the best way to see what's different in 2.12.1.

PS: A more correct - but still incorrect - filter would be http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-bug ... ells=tiles ;-)

Hmm, to my big surprise I have realised that some posts does not seem to end up in "Active topics", just recently found this post in "Unread posts": :?
