How to control the placement of a dialog on screen

Postby mhab » Sat Jun 29, 2013 2:27 pm

It seems to be a simple question, but I could not google any useful answer ...

Is there a way to control where a dialog pops up on screen ?

What I want to change is, where the "pushback" dialog pops up.
I made some keyboard shortcuts to handle the pushback, and now I would like to have the dialog pop up NOT in the screen center but somewhere in the upper left corner (near to the menubar)

Thanks for any help

Sure, just add something like this to your dialog
Code: Select all
<x>5</x>
<y>-300</y>

See gui/dialogs/fps.xml for an example. This is explained in Docs/README.gui
