create a scenery with linux

Postby sanni » Thu Oct 18, 2012 9:23 pm

Hi developers,

to create an airport WED and TerraGear are needed.
Is it possible to get similar programs for linux (archlinux)?

cheers, Sanni

Ok, I downloaded WED, but what about TerraGear.
I don't know anything about Gitorious. Is there a way to get TerraGear in another way?
Tried google, but couldn't find it anywhere.....

Note that the build server does NOT provide pre-compiled binaries for Linux.
In other words, as a Linux user, you are normally expected to be able to build something from source.

Sure, I'm expecting that :)
If I click on the git-link my browser says that the protocol is unknown.....
Is there a site where I can download the source code without any tricks?

Sanni, please do take a look at all the links we've been posting here in response to your questions, and you'll surely notice that many of the questions you raise here, could be directly answered by reading some text. You'll surely notice that going to https://gitorious.org/fg/terragear/trees/master provides an option "Download master as tar.gz"?
https://gitorious.org/fg/terragear/arch ... all/master

It's also documented on the wiki.

That's it! The first link is the first who works.
This site is not in your formely posts (or reachable from there), and the other ones didn't really work (protocol problems, not reachable).
Many thanks for your patience!!!!!
