FG 2020.3.12 in Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS: No sound

Postby OE-LML » Thu Mar 10, 2022 3:53 pm

Hallo!

Since the last few days I am trying out Linux with Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS for the first time. I have also installed FG 2020.3.12. But unfortunately I don't get sound in FG.

I have downloaded the AppImage-file and the txz-archive. The archive is unzipped and FG is launched via the AppImage-file.
I recognized that, if FG is launched in window mode, in the Ubuntu sound settings there is a "fgfs" slider and sound is heared. If I change to fullscreen mode, there is no sound and in the Ubuntu settings the "fgfs" slider is gone.

Ryzen 5 3600, RX 590, monitor via HDMI, monitor's speakers

Thank you in advance for your help.
