In order to help you, we need to know a lot of information. Make sure to include answers to at least the following questions in your initial post.

- what OS (Windows Xp/Vista, Mac etc.) are you running?
- what FlightGear version do you use?
- what graphics card do you have?
- does the problem occur with any aircraft, at any airport?
- where did you download your aircraft/scenery from?
- is there any output printed to the console (black window)?
- copy&paste your commandline (tick the "Show commandline box on the last page of FGRun or the "Others" section on the Mac launcher).

Please report any bugs not specific to an aircraft on the issue tracker.
To run FlightGear on old computers with bad OpenGL support, please take a look at this wiki article.

Note: If you did not get a reponse, even after 7 days, you may want to check out the FlightGear mailing lists to ask your question there.

Flight Planner

I have come across https://flightplandatabase.com/planner a really simple FP Tool. It is supposed to be compatible with FG. Problem is I can't get it to save in 'Export'. There is a link that gives you a saved mode of 'say' EGPE-EGCC.fgfp but I am stuck from there.

I have tried 'Export\EGPE-EGCC.fgfp which doesn't appear in Exort folder. Any advice would be welcome.

I saved it fine but uploading it to export file was the issue. How did you get it into Route Manager.

Not to worry I think I found a work around. Also found another Flight Planner that works with FG. http://onlineflightplanner.org/ only thing about this one is the limited planes but doesn't affect plan.

you copy/save it to the Export directory in the same directory tree where your fgfs.log file is found...
then in the route manager, there's a button to load a flight plan...
when you click on that button, a file selection window should open to the above mentioned Export directory...
then hilight your desired flight plan and hit enter or open or whatever the load button is called...
the flight plan should load into the route manager if there are no problems with it...
you might have to put in the departure and arrival airports before attempting the import/load...
you might possibly also have to select the runways at each end...
it has been a while since i loaded a flight plan but the above is the general procedure i used...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

There is one thing I don't understand about all the flight planners I have looked at and that is despite showing they do sids & stars they never load. The generic FG flight plan puts them in. Why is this.
