PSA: SysMain on Win 10 1809 and FG don't work together nicel

Hi there,
My system has been increasingly unstable recently - Window's quality checking team seems to be on holidays! Anyway - regardless of that - on 1809 very shortly after upgrading I noticed performance being very poor as well as creating subsystem times being ten times longer (as measured by Creating subsystems took:). Disk useage and GPU useage was almost zero despite this!

The soloution to this is to disable SuperFetch (now known as SysMain in Windows 10) and the Search Indexer services.

Just posting this in case it helps anyone else having similar issues. Please do at your own risk.

Or just install Linux!

Superfetch and the Search Indexer

Ah, the classic services keeping the CPU fan spinning on an idle machine! :D
There are free alternatives to every program you encounter. You just have to find them.
