simulator crashes after pressing the fly button

Postby qantas747400 » Fri Mar 08, 2019 12:23 am

this has happened every time I try to fly any aircraft, the program goes into not responding then shuts it self down, it is getting annoying as on this computer it previously worked. And then after using the compatibility troubleshooter it loads and then gets stuck on loading scenery.

most recent version of Flightgear
HP Pavilion X360 14-cd0107TU
windows 10
8GB ram

Same happens to me, and it started after I updated my Nvidia graphics driver to the latest version... and strangely enough, it runs fine on the integrated GPU.

Hmm - there seems to be an issue with Nividia's latest drivers - many users have reported this.

Try reverting your drivers to an older version.

I had the same problem, crash after pressing the « fly » button. It happened after I upgraded the driver for my Nvidia card. Problem solved after downgrading the driver, wich is pretty easy on windows 10.

The latest Nvidia driver for win10 (430.64) solves this problem for me

I suggest you try to roll back the driver software in order to fix the issue.

I don't think that's necessary any more since the last drivers are working perfectly fine.
