Hi
After picking my plane (Cessna 172p) and choosing my airport a window pops up displaying
"fgfs.exe has stopped working
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
please close the program"
Windows 7 Ultimate Service pack 1
64bit
Amd phenom II N950 Quad-Core procesor 2.10 Ghz

FlightGear Has stopped working

In order to help you, we need to know a lot of information. Make sure to include answers to at least the following questions in your initial post.
- what OS (Windows Xp/Vista, Mac etc.) are you running?
- what FlightGear version do you use?
- what graphics card do you have?
- does the problem occur with any aircraft, at any airport?
- where did you download your aircraft/scenery from?
- is there any output printed to the console (black window)?
- copy&paste your commandline (tick the "Show commandline box on the last page of FGRun or the "Others" section on the Mac launcher).
Please report any bugs not specific to an aircraft on the issue tracker.
To run FlightGear on old computers with bad OpenGL support, please take a look at this wiki article.

do you have multiplayer enabled with no server selected?

no, you don't have to have MP enabled...
do you have anything in the additional settings at the bottom of that screen?

i already saw that... on the right is a slider... there's a settings box at the bottom... slide down further, please, so we can see what is in it...

no, i don't do any of those... we only need to see what's in that box IF there is anything in it at all... if you did not specifically add any additional settings in that box, then we're fine knowing that there's nothing in it...
i don't understand your "wikii" comment...
can you provide us with logs? click on your start menu, type "%APPDATA% in the search box and hit enter... then look for a directory with flightgear in its name... inside that directory you should find fgfs.log and possibly fgfs_0.log... we're really only interested in the first one... if it is not too long, you can post it here in code tags like so...
if it is too big to post here, post it at pastebin or somewhere similar and provide us with the URL... we'll keep trying to figure out the problem you're running into...

this one appears to have exited normally due to user request... the last line indicates the settings being saved in the autosave file...
i can't tell which one is fgfs.log, though... that's really the only one needed (at this time)... can you try running FG again with the c172p at LKPR as you're trying to do and let's see if it crashes again... if it does, then post that fgfs.log only...

i don't see evidence of a crash but i also don't see evidence of a proper exit...
let's do two things, please... both of these are put into the "extra settings" box in the launcher's settings tab...
1. let's disable the AI craft for now... disabling the AI traffic will remove a lot of additional work the system doesn't really need to be doing right now... especially when we're trying to get things going for you...
--disable-ai-traffic
2. let's force your scenery downloads to use sourceforge for now...
--prop:/sim/terrasync/http-server=http://flightgear.sourceforge.net/scenery
so put both of those lines in the additional settings box in the launcher and let's see what happens...
at this point, AFAIK, these should be the only additional settings you have... correct??
