Unable to extract scenery

Postby Flight876 » Mon Nov 27, 2017 7:04 am

Hey guys.
When I tried to add in scenery for Indonesia E.g Basic ground textures from this site: http://ns334561.ip-5-196-65.eu/~fgscene ... 2.0.1.html, it downloaded as a .zip file, when I tried to extract the scenery, it only gave me three scenery formats : *.tar *.gz *. *.tgz, these are the only formats that I'm getting now, I remember a while back, I was able to extract the .zip files with no problem whatsoever, but I can't do that now. Anyone know what's up with that? And is there a possible solution to this problem?
Thanks :)

I'm not sure at what step you see them (as extracted scenery has *.btg.gz files which do not need to be extracted further), but generally these are rather common compressed archive formats and a general-purpose decompression tool of your choice should be able to handle them fine.

If I was to extract the files and put them in their locations manually, where would I put the scenery files?
