No sound No Scenery

All general support: help on flying, installation, hardware, getting online etc. There are lots of users and developers to help you out.
Forum rules
In order to help you, we need to know a lot of information. Make sure to include answers to at least the following questions in your initial post.

- what OS (Windows Xp/Vista, Mac etc.) are you running?
- what FlightGear version do you use?
- what graphics card do you have?
- does the problem occur with any aircraft, at any airport?
- where did you download your aircraft/scenery from?
- is there any output printed to the console (black window)?
- copy&paste your commandline (tick the "Show commandline box on the last page of FGRun or the "Others" section on the Mac launcher).

If you experience FlightGear crashes, please report a bug using the issue tracker (can be also used for feature requests).
To run FlightGear on old computers with bad OpenGL support, please take a look at this wiki article.

Note: If you did not get a reponse, even after 7 days, you may want to check out the FlightGear mailing lists to ask your question there.

No sound No Scenery

i have 2 problem here , i have no sound even i chooose my audio driver in sound setting ..why ?

and aanother one is i downloaded my country Scenery files from here ... 2.0.1.html then use with simulator to install and it installed that and add that folder in C:/user/document..../scenery but i havnt scenery in game !

can anyone help me?

I think you need to add that directory to your scenery paths separately.
There are free alternatives to every program you encounter. You just have to find them.

Have you tried Terramaster for your scenery, As this works well? It's here: I might be wrong with this quote, but the tiles are smaller and more detailed. I have the whole world downloaded and have the file on my desktop and just point flightgear at that file and it extracts the scenery as it needs it from that file, you can sync' tiles to keep them up to date. Bear in mind though the whole world does take up about 84Gb of disc space! Hope this helps
