In order to help you, we need to know a lot of information. Make sure to include answers to at least the following questions in your initial post.

- what OS (Windows Xp/Vista, Mac etc.) are you running?
- what FlightGear version do you use?
- what graphics card do you have?
- does the problem occur with any aircraft, at any airport?
- where did you download your aircraft/scenery from?
- is there any output printed to the console (black window)?
- copy&paste your commandline (tick the "Show commandline box on the last page of FGRun or the "Others" section on the Mac launcher).

Please report any bugs not specific to an aircraft on the issue tracker.
To run FlightGear on old computers with bad OpenGL support, please take a look at this wiki article.

Note: If you did not get a reponse, even after 7 days, you may want to check out the FlightGear mailing lists to ask your question there.

Code: Select all
3 - 'C:/FlightGear/terrasync/'
C:\FlightGear\bin\Win32\terrasync.exe -S -d "C:/FlightGear/terrasync/" -p 5505
error binding to port 5505

Just wondering, this is appearing in the FlightGear v2.0.0 window, is this normal?

And also, for others using terrasync, is that the scenery in my first post the scenery that you guys get or is it different.

If it is different, did you guys do anything else for setting up terrasync?

No, it is not normal and will most likely prevent terrasync from receiving any position information from FG. You may have some other software using port 5505 or a software firewall preventing terrasync from using it.

A good way to check if terrasync works is to start at or fly to a location you didn't have scenery for before. (When starting at you may have to restart FG to see the new scenery since terrasync probably didn't manage to download it in time the first time).
